Kilbryde Hospice is a Scottish charity that provides hospice services in South Lanarkshire and the surrounding area for adults with life-limiting conditions. We were founded in 2001, and thanks to the generous support of the local community, opened our brand new hospice building in 2015. We currently offer support to patients and their families and carers through our day services and drop in centre, from the hospice building on the grounds of Hairmyres Hospital. We also provide a home care service, staffed by a dedicated team based in the hospice. The service offers support to patients and their carers and families in their own homes when they need it most. We have a 12 bed in-patient unit, which is currently awaiting commissioning. We aim to improve the lives of our patients, and the highest value is put on respect, dignity and choice. We not only take care of physical needs, but consider emotional, spiritual and social needs, and support family, carers and close friends.
