The Corporate Innovation & Entrepreneurship Society (CIES) is a student organization in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Its purpose is to have students build an innovative network of corporate employees and entrepreneurs to bring ideas into reality. The organization has a corporate network and a start-up network meant for speaker events, case studies, and innovative activities. Through these offerings, CIES helps develop the critical thinking abilities and strategic skills necessary to becoming a successful leader. We encourage our members to reach out and gain perspective on their ideas, and also learn what corporate opportunities are available to them in the fast-paced, innovative world.
