www.cies.chIn cooperation with FIFA, the FIFA/CIES International Programme in Sports Management offers continuous education in the main areas related to the sports industry: Law, Management, Communication, Finance, Event Management and Marketing / Sponsorship. The FIFA/CIES Programme is organised together with 19 partner universities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Palestine, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Senegal, Spain, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, the UAE and Venezuela. They adapt their course content to local needs, as well as propose practical case studies linked to both football and a wide range of other national sports. The FIFA/CIES Programme enables students to become familiar with the essential principles and tools of sports management, as well as with the main issues related to contemporary sport business. It combines teaching provided by local experts with classes given by international guest speakers. All of them enjoy an excellent reputation in their respective field of expertise. Today, numerous alumni work in the sports and football industry at organisations that range from international federations to local sports associations, including continental entities, national federations and first division sports clubs. Students and alumni from the FIFA/CIES International Programme belong to a broad network comprising more that 5000 people. These contact opportunities are an asset in terms of boosting professional careers and implementing ambitious projects in the sports field. They also have the opportunity to attend various events such as symposiums, congresses, workshops or conferences organised by CIES or its partner universities.
