A New Vision Limited is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in Singapore focusing on eradicating blindness from cataract through sight restoration surgeries. To date, we have screened more than 57,000 patients from the low-income families for eye diseases, operated on more than 21,000 eyes, and trained more than 9,000 community representatives on basic eye health education. A New Vision has also collaborated with educational institutions and other healthcare providers to constantly upgrade the skills of our partner surgeons and medical personnel. We have procured more then US$ 150,000 worth of ophthalmic equipment to support our surgical outreach in the Asian countries that we focus on.
