Global Vikas Trust (GVT) is a not-for-profit movement which works at the grassroots level to transform India. It does this through #RuralEconomicRevolution with specific focus on Environment, Economy and 360° Development of our farmers & their family. GVT started their phenomenal work in the Beed district of Maharashtra through the project "Global Parli" ग्लोबल परळी. This proved as proof of concept where GVT successfully altered the landscape of the villages and lives of the farmers. Project Global Parli showed that with proper planning, training and technology support; farmers' incomes can easily be multiplied 5x or even 10x. Enthused with the success of "Global Parli", GVT now works in more than 20,000 villages, covering an area of 14,000 plus acres of 11 districts in Maharashtra, 11 districts in Madhya Pradesh impacting 15000+ farmer families of India.
