Ignited is bringing careers to every classroom. We are a Silicon Valley nonprofit on a mission to connect under-served students to their future careers. We do that by helping companies and foundations collaborate more effectively with teachers in K-12 schools, community colleges, and universities. Ignited focuses on teachers as the primary agents to effect meaningful change within the K-16 system. Ignited teachers are supported by industry mentors and seasoned educators to translate real-world experiences into compelling and effective classroom curriculum. Ignited has: • Impacted over 3 million students, ~40% of whom are underrepresented in STEM fields • Awarded 3,704 Fellowships to classroom teachers from 753 schools and 132 districts • Partnered with more than 400 companies, foundations, universities, government labs
