Established: 19th May 1944, Registered Charity Number: 306084 Cadets and Officers follow similar rates and ranks, traditions, values and ethos as the British Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) and the Merchant Navy. Units are spread across the south coast of england, and provide opportunities for young people aged 8+. Whilst we continue to maintain positive and productive relationships with a number of services The Nautical Training Corps is not formally affiliated with the Ministry of Defence. Officers do however swear allegiance to the British monarch, and his or her heirs and successors.
