58-12 Design Lab was created to develop and practice the various disciplines of design for the greater good. Started by three UCLA graduates who are going into architecture, law, and professional services, 58-12 seeks to employ the talent of the best and brightest designers for non-profit purposes. Right now, we are focusing on the potentials of alternative media to serve as a provocateur for change and on figuring out how to meet the environmental needs of the world’s burgeoning urban slum community population. 58-12 Design Lab is a charitable organization registered in California and formed under California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation law.
