Founded in 1979, the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce (BVCC) serves over 450 local businesses from 11 towns in south central Massachusetts including: Blackstone, Douglas, Grafton, Hopedale, Mendon, Millbury, Millville, Northbridge, Sutton, Upton and Uxbridge. The BVCC is an independent, not-for-profit organization governed by an annually-elected Board of Directors. Founders of the BVCC worked with the goal of retaining local business and promoting the economic welfare and longevity of the Blackstone Valley. Representing the interests and needs of its members, the BVCC works as a community liaison and advocate, establishing relationships and networks which cultivate growth and continuous advancement for the region. The chamber operates their Central Massachusetts Center for Business and Enterprise which provides services to the small business owners and entrepreneurs. A free benefit to our community, this program offers business counseling through organizations such as SCORE and Clark University’s SBDC, focusing on business plans, financial counseling and gap lending programs. This, among multiple other programs and initiatives, help connect our members to local resources for any personal and professional need. We are committed to expanding our public profile in the interest of promoting the success of businesses and community of the Blackstone Valley. Will you come grow with us?
