Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) IEEE Student Branch was established in the year 1988 with an aim of inculcating a sense of technical awareness amongst its student members. PISB aims to escalate the knowledge of developments and trends in the diverse field of technologies amongst its student members. PISB has more than 350 student members this year. Kick- started with the membership drive, PISB upholds two major events- Credenz and Credenz Tech Dayz, along with many seminars, workshops, sections congress, innovative computing events and membershp drives held round the year. PISB is also  marked by its Women In Engineering (WIE) chapter, an initiative for empowerment of women. Another important feature of PISB is PICT IEEE Newsletter Group (P.I.N.G.). P.I.N.G. is the official gazette of PISB issued bi-annually. PISB has been awarded with IEEE exemplary student branch Award 2017.
