LiNa Energy is commercialising high performance solid-state sodium batteries which offer greater safety, sustainability, and lower cost versus lithium-ion. LiNa’s technology is a modern planar re-engineering of proven sodium-metal-chloride chemistry using advancements in solid oxide fuel cell engineering, design and commercialisation. Power is produced by sodium ions conducting across a fast sodium ion conducting thin ceramic membrane in the solid-state.
