EcoHotels manages and operates the award-winning Feynan, its first ecolodge in Jordan, and is currently working on the development of a new lodge in the North of Jordan. Feynan Ecolodge, situated in the pristine Dana Biosphere Reserve, is heralded by National Geographic’s Adventure Magazine as one of the top 25 ecolodges in the world. The solar-powered lodge offers a completely unique experience and is the only ecolodge in Jordan that is not connected to the power grid. The lodge is lit by candles at night and guests can be found hiking in nature, canyoning, exploring nearby archaeological sites and learning about local culture from our Bedouin staff. The lodge blends seamlessly into its environment and has a minimal environmental footprint. Feynan is also socially responsible, with an exclusive local hiring policy and sourcing products and services from local communities, with over 50% of the lodge's revenue staying in the local community and benefiting over 90 families.
