Founded in 2001 by Steve Janke, Janke General Contractors has continuously had our headquarters in Athens, Wisconsin. In the beginning, we had only small crews that completed small earthwork and utility projects. Today Janke has expanded to perform large civil projects; including dam construction, lock reconstruction, highway and pedestrian bridges, box culverts; large parks & recreational projects; utility construction; and its own 20,000 SF fabrication facility. Janke offers our expertise in the form of consultation, engineering, project management, and design-build services to local and state governments, businesses, and private parties throughout the Midwest.
