The Centre for Green Building Materials and Technology is an Indian Non-Governmental Organisation that works to promote a sustainable way of living. Our work responds to human, community and ecological needs through eco-education, advocacy, research and development, and on-the-ground community projects. CGBMT works with all actors to ensure long-term benefits. We launched the School of Simple Living in 2020 as an effort to reach the eyes and ears of the common man and rekindle our connection to nature We envision a world where the science and wisdom of sustainability is accessible and relatable to the common man - such that he may join us in the creation of new model for development. With a technical, behavioural, political and cultural approach and today’s global united front against climate change, we believe that the enabling conditions are set.
