The company was formed to carry out the Business of Education and with a long-term view of engaging in production for the Entertainment industry. The company has since added Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL) among its shareholders. AAT started operations in 2000 June at Chennai and since then has established a significant presence at Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. The product of the company is namely, Educational services in the field of Audio Engineering, Media Technologies , Games design and Digital Film Making, Management studies in Media and Technology management for media and entertainment industry, Production of Audio and Audio Video content for Entertainment targeting the small screen. The company looks at establishing itself as a dominant player in the non-traditional education segment by 2011/12.
