Maddison Safety was incorporated over 20 years ago in the city of Lake Macquarie. Keith Maddison began trading in a shared rental premises at Warners Bay with only one other employee. The Company then relocated to Gateshead where we established a manufacturing section, and gradually employed more staff. Extensive growth and expansion saw us outgrow the premises at Gateshead and in August 2006 we moved the business to our current position in Cardiff. In 2008 we opened a branch in Singleton to service our growing market in the Hunter Valley. The business has also continued to expand in Newcastle with an extension on our building at Cardiff which has doubled its size. This now enables us to have designated areas for receiving and dispatching to align with our quality standards. Maddison Safety now employs 30 people and our aim is to provide a happy, friendly and safe work environment for our employees. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated company, employing local people. At Maddison Safety, we are very proud of the reputation we uphold in the Hunter, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle region. In the past 5 years our markets have expanded and we now service accounts in most states of Australia.
