About Me: I earned my Diploma in Fashion & Textiles in 2005 and spent time working with and being mentored by iconic Australian Labels such as Country Road, Jaclin Chouchana, Picnic and Hue Le Designs. I entered the dancing world in 2006 where I spent a few years learning Cuban Salsa and many years later, discovered Bachata and Zouk, though I absolutely fell in love with Kizomba. I remember buying my first pair of dance shoes and the feeling I had when I danced in them was something I'll never forget. This inspired me to start my business - I wanted to bring that feeling that I had to others. I launched Move Me Dancewear in 2017 and my collection started with just seven styles! Fast forward to today, I am a mother to my beautiful son Valentino who was born in February of 2021, and am engaged to my Partner Laurie. After slowing my business down since Vali was born, I am now very excited to be getting right back in! We now have a growing collection of over thirty styles for both Women & Men. I am currently working on incorporating my fashion experience and knowledge by designing our first line of Women's clothing for the Social Dancer. Through my shoes and clothing, I want to empower Women to look and feel sexy, confident and fierce on and off the dance floor!
