Historically accurate festival showcases pioneer life featuring two days of continuous, live entertainment on five stages, authentically prepared food, educational demonstrations, children’s activities, military re-enactors, and handcrafts. Most of the primitive cooking is demonstrated by area not-for-profit organizations working today to improve the future of the Northeastern Indiana community. Annually, the third full weekend in September, the free festival is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, and from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday.
