Innovate Recycle are a UK based manufacturer of recycled PP. This recycled material is extracted from waste carpet. Approximately 500,000 tonnes of carpet waste pa are produced in the UK, of this 246,000 tonnes are sent to landfill. Innovate Recycle are creating a solution to this environmental problem with the intention of eradicating carpet being sent to landfill. Innovate Recycle are using proven technology from the US and EU countries to create the first plant in Northampton, England which will enable the business to support, enable and advise carpet manufacturers on how to create a more sustainable material benefiting their business. The process IR have created at the UK based site will omit zero emission's and utilise a completely chemical free process, thus creating an environmental solution for the carpet industry. This resource will enable the forward sale of the repurposed material and will have a recycling system that in one singular process line is able to convert c6,637 tonnes pa of waste carpet per 8 hour shift. We are part of the recycling revolution, creating sustainable material and preventing further waste carpet entering our eco systems.
