Kasha Tokyo was established in 2016 during a period of rapid growth in inbound tourism to Japan, driven by deregulation and digital transformation of the hospitality industry. Tourism is a key pillar of the post-industrial economy in Japan and is well supported by demographics in the Asia Pacific region and favourable government policy. In spite of significant headwinds caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe these structural trends remain strong and will continue to support significant long term growth in the industry. Since our launch, Kasha Tokyo has expanded steadily in the Tokyo metro region and beyond. We have established a significant footprint in key tourism and commercial centres such as Okinawa and Osaka and we now manage several hundred properties nationwide. We have also successfully diversified our business activities into flexible shared office solutions for co-working in Japan and commercial facilities management. Kasha Tokyo holds a Private Lodging Agent ("Minpaku Daikou") license authorised by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism and is headquartered in central Tokyo.
