Founded in 1975, ICBAS is a university institution dedicated to teaching, scientific research and providing services to the community, within the scope of health and life sciences. Due to its multidisciplinarity, ICBAS brings together professors and researchers from different areas, stimulating the exchange of knowledge and experiences. ICBAS training focuses on the preparation of professionals in human medicine, veterinary medicine, aquatic sciences, biochemistry and bioengineering, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle courses in these areas and the like.
