Stafford FM is unique. We broadcast live from our studios in Stafford 24 hours a day. We will be conducting a series of 28 day FM trials in preparation for the full time licence application in the second half of 2013. Stafford FM boasts an experienced team of professional broadcasters and committed team of volunteers which sets us apart from the rest. Stafford FM music is different. We play a variety of chart, familiar hits, album tracks and we showcase the very best local music. We support local business and offer affordable advertising packages. It is our intention to apply for a full time FM community radio license in 2013. The regulatory body, Ofcom, will be inviting potential applicants later this year, and we believe that it is now time Stafford is served by it’s own truly dedicated radio station. Stafford FM mission is not only to to secure a full time FM Community Licence in 2013/2014 but to bring back local radio and provide a service dedicated to the County Town We are completely focused on Stafford and the area, ensuring that our programming reflects the community we serve by providing local news, sport, travel and other information, as well as highlighting local events, discussing local issues and helping to promote both established and up and coming local artists. As a community radio station local people are able to take part and gain new skills with air with radio training and workshops. Everyone in the community can get involved in Stafford FM.
