At enCOURAGE Trauma Center, we provide a safe haven for those who have experienced trauma to increase coping skills, understand the impact of their experience, and promote their capacity to heal. The programming is designed to augment safety and containment for people who are addressing their trauma in individual therapy. Our collaborative approach makes working directly with traumatic experiences more manageable for the client/therapist dyad. This deep work on the underlying trauma makes it possible to move beyond recovery to thriving and flourishing. The enCOURAGE program has a closed format in which participants start and finish the 8-week curriculum together. This type of format maximizes learning and closeness among group members.
