As the Founder of Asia Art Tours, I worked in the Luxury Travel industry for over 7 years, helping connect people to the best hotels, restaurants, guides and experiences. This model, of money alone equaling value, didn’t ring true to me. I was helping connect people to nice things, but the only component that made the experiences exclusive, was the cost. I was a writer by trade, and some of the greatest joys I’ve had in life were in moments of silence where in a book’s passage I would uncover an epiphany. A voice that spoke uniquely to me, that resonated with priceless wisdom. So it was this kernel, that eventually blossomed into Asia Art Tours, our goal quite simply is to give people moments of epiphany, in the art forms they love or themselves participate in, and focus on this being what makes an experience exclusive, not cost. No Group Travel: While Group Travel is certainly right for some types of travel, it is not flexible enough for what we wish to do at Asia Art Tours. Our focus is on placing travelers in small, intimate settings where they can truly get to know an artist, and discuss their work with nuance and detail. Local artists: While you will be with guides for portions of the trip, our aim is to connect you with local artists in your field of interest. These are not guides, but people whose passion for the arts have led them to make it their career, and wish to share that passion with you. We will be introducing you to a variety of settings, artists, and experiences to try and give you as many different perspectives as possible.
