The Westport Land Conservation Trust (WLCT) is a private, non-profit organization that has been protecting special places in Westport since 1972. During these 40+ years WLCT has helped landowners permanently protect over 4,000 acres of land. WLCT actively manages over 650 acres of protected land for passive recreational use. These properties provide great hiking, walking, birding, nature observation, and in some cases fishing and hunting.
