Jaimie Anderson Parliamentary Internship
www.jaimiesinternship.caThe Jaimie Anderson Parliamentary Internship was created to honour the memory of a remarkable young woman who lost her life to neuro-endocrine cancer, at the age of 23. One of the things Jaimie cared about was politics and public life. She grew up in a family that nurtured this passion, and she had the good fortune to work on Parliament Hill and make her own contribution to Canadian political life there. While she loved political debate, Jaimie also had an abiding respect for people of different points of view. To honour Jaimie’s memory in an enduring way, an Internship has been created where each year, deserving young people are given an opportunity to work with a Member of Parliament for the summer.
