Electric Boating Association of Canada
www.electricboating.caThe Electric Boating Association of Canada is a registered Canadian Non-Profit Corporation whose Vision is to ensure the sustainability of Canada's lakes, waterways and environment. Its Mission is to help transition the Canadian boating industry to clean energy propulsion within ten years. To ensure the success of its ambitious yet achievable Mission, the Electric Boating Association of Canada and its passionate members perform a range of activities in concert with individual, industry and government stakeholders across Canada. The time for action on Canada's transition to clean energy on our lakes and waterways has long passed yet our governments still refuse to allow eboaters to take advantage of electric vehicle rebates and incentives already in place. The Electric Boating Association of Canada is listed on the Canadian Lobbyist Registry and will advocate for change across all levels of government to ensure Canadian eboaters and eboating industry stakeholders have access to the programs and incentives they need to transition the boating industry in Canada. The internal combustion engine boating industry does not care about our waterways, the environment, or the overdue transition to clean energy. The Electric Boating industry in Canada is in its development phase and it behooves all stakeholders to share information and best practices, and to work together to develop eboating markets across Canada. EBAC networking efforts and events will enable meaningful discussion and exchange between stakeholders to ensure its mission. EBAC individual members are the lifeblood of the organisation and drive much of the association's activities and mandates. In return, they have access to customized research information and are the first to receive industry news. EBAC membership also allows them to obtain discounts and rebates from other EBAC members, and its industry and association partners.
