Currently, more than an organization in the 3rd sector, SAS Brasil is a social startup that has sought to promote solutions for access to specialized healthcare in the country. We were born in 2013 as the social dimension of Rally do Sertões, the biggest rally in the Americas. SAS Brasil operates in the space between Primary Healthcare and Secondary Healthcare. With this model integrated to the SUS (Brazil's public health system) and combining face-to-face care and telehealth, SAS Brasil increases the resolution and efficiency of repressed demands and waiting lines for care in 30 medical specialties and 6 other health areas. The operation in this context, between Primary and Secundary healthcare, contributes to the early diagnosis of health problems that could worsen, such as cervical cancer, for example. With early diagnosis, the treatment of the desease is simpler, cheaper and also more effective.
