50% of time photographer, 50% traveller, and 50 % scientists. And, yes, I know it adds up to more than 100, but often my interests overlap and those projects are the best. As a traveller, I try to give priority to the "off the beaten path" backpacking adventures, but also don't mind occasional relaxing and letting someone else take care of me. As a travel photographer, I'm not limited to any narrow genre. Travel photography is a wonderful fusion of many other styles and incorporates everything from landscape to street photography (with occasional selfies and food photography in between ;) ). I'm also a biologist by education and molecular biologist by specialization. So nature and curiosity are close to my heart and when I travel, that shows.
