The Polytops trademark is well known in the industry. Today, it is generically used to mean plastic top pins and nails or plastic headed pins and nails. Polytops is recommended by leading PVCU board manufacturers, Eurocell, Celuform, Deeplas. Other applications of Polytops include fixing vehicle number plates, sign boards and furniture. This was followed by Stranglehold Banding, a flexible metal strapping system for use as hose clip, duct joining and signage fastening. SEAC sold the Banding business in 2013 but continues to add products that answer to industrial needs, eg direct-insert concrete screws that do not require nylon plugs and baypole screws for bay window installation.
