IUCN is a membership Union composed of both government and civil society organisations. With more than 1,400 Member organisations and 18,000 volunteer experts, its the world's largest and most diverse environmental network. The new Enterprise and Investment Unit, formerly known as the Business & Biodiversity Programme, sits within one of four newly-created IUCN Programme Centres that focuses on Economy and Finance. It is responsible for mobilising business partnerships and resources to safeguard our natural world for people and the planet.
