So what is JCI Santa Clarita? We are part of Junior Chamber International (JCI). JCI is a nonprofit organization of young active citizens between the ages 18 to 40 who are actively engaged and committed to creating positive impacts in their communities. We develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action. As globally minded young people, we all have rights, responsibilities and share goals. We find targeted solutions to local issues benefiting our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time. Locally in Santa Clarita, we assist and support many events in Santa Clarita, such as Taste of the Town, Evening under the Stars, Relay for Life, Valencia Jazz & Blues, as well as own annual events - SCV's 40 Under Forty and Santa’s Helpers. We believe that by serving our local community not only can we help create positive change but we can empower young people to take the next step in their personal and professional lives whether that’s a promotion at work, starting their own business or further develop on their strengths, skills and abilities.
