Level IT out - Improving I&D in tech
www.inclusionatwork.be👋 Welcome to the Level IT out project! If you're here to find more information on how to advance inclusion and diversity (I&D) in your tech company, you've come to the right place! 🖱️ Visit our platform www.InclusionAtWork.be! The aim of this ESF project is to improve I&D in the tech industry by doing 3 main things: - Measure ➡️ map out who currently works in the digital industry, do employees experience inclusion in the industry, what can be improved? - Sensitize ➡️ convince organisations that I&D is important for their business - Take action ➡️ develop a free platform that organisations can consult to find tools, tips and tricks to advance I&D in their organisation Who is working on this project? Artevelde University of Applied Sciences is the promotor of this project, but we of course can't undertake this project by ourselves. That's why we've partnered up with Agoria, Inclusion Now, NLdigital and Tech Talent Charter to offer us valuable support in this project. What will we be doing? 📋 The industry-wide survey: in March 2021 we collected data on I&D in the tech industry in Belgium and NLdigital will do the same in the Netherlands. The results of this survey were presented on 15 October 2021 during an Inspiration day. 💬 The learning community: a set group of 10 tech companies meet monthly to get inspired, learn from each other and to share I&D best practices. Inclusion Now facilitates the sessions of the learning community and invites interesting guest speakers each session. The community was organized from March 2021 - March 2022. 💻 The platform: the end goal of this project is to develop the free platform InclusionAtWork.be. Employees, (HR) managers and CEOs will be able to find tips, tricks, and tools to work on I&D in their organisation on this platform. Questions?
