Swidg is a seat matching platform allowing commuters to make better use of their journey to work. We offer a mobility solution to companies by bringing employees together, matching their car seats, and driving the necessary change to accelerate the sustainable transformation journey. Swidg is a product of TakeASeat BV, a spinoff of UHasselt. A group of EMBA students at Antwerp Management School was investigating the business viability of a private capacity mobility platform and came across studies referring to a carpooling matching algorithm developed by a team of professors of IMOB UHasselt. Bringing mobility expertise, technological resources, and business experience together, we teamed up in TakeASeat BV to create Swidg. We believe that, together, we can overcome inefficiencies and find more time and energy to focus on what we dream of. That’s why TakeASeat offers better solutions to optimize the existing mobility infrastructure and resources through social enablement.
