Jane Gorman Decorators & Developers are a long established boutique interior design firm, specialising in residential, commercial and marine interior decorating and design. Project management for interior and exterior design is one of the companies specialties. Principal and Interior Designer Jane Gorman ensures that her clients are relieved from the stress of coordinating and managing everything themselves whilst work is being carried out on their premises by her team of highly skilled tradespeople.� Jane Gorman designed and built her first home in 1982 when she was 21 years old in Templestowe, Victoria whilst working for an interior designer and studying. In 1990, just prior to her second child, Jane designed and built her second home on an acre property also in the suburb of Templestowe, Victoria. Having a deep passion for interior decorating and property development and a year after her third and final child, on the 31st of March, 1995, Jane Gorman Interior Decorators was registered as a sole proprietorship within Australia. In 2013, Jane Gorman Interior Decorators was dissolved into the new company Jane Gorman Decorators & Developers. The company was established with the focus on providing residential & commercial renovations complete with soft furnishings. Jane Gorman Interior Decorators was registered in a time where there was no computer, email or mobile phones, with Jane primarily using an electric golf ball type writer, hand drawings and a landline to conduct business. There was no ability to coordinate with tradespeople via mobile phone and no ability to simulate drawings on computers. Over the years in the industry, technological advancements have made business communications more efficient and the design aspect easier. Janes passion for marine design saw the company expand operations into marine decorating and design in 2000. The company over the years still believes in its core principle of high quality service no matter how big or small the job is.
