SubSea Craft Limited has developed and manufactures a unique high-speed self-supporting surface craft which transitions to become a full submersible – the SubSea DDU. This self-supporting asset has long surface range with world class subsurface range and speed. In addition, this all new fly-by-wire craft can be operated from the craft's helm, via an umbilical or as a full automaton - not just on the surface but through transition and subsurface. The design has focused on a global capability requirement – and the DDU sits within a defined user requirement offering capability and mission fulfilment. SubSea Craft Limited has created a centre of excellence allowing the design, engineering and analytical engineering to be conducted in-house. The core design and engineering team are highly experienced and multidisciplined from across industry and have utilised the best in academia. This outward facing approach has enabled the team to capture many breakthroughs within the sector.
