YATA Turkey is a youth think tank aiming to increase the knowledge of youth vis-à-vis foreign and international security policies, and it organises events and seminars in this regard. YATA Turkey has been established on 15 July 2005 by a board decision of the Atlantic Council of Turkey, which has been active since 1954. Plus, YATA Turkey represents the Turkish chapter of the YATA International, which has been found in 1996 as the youth component of the Atlantic Treaty Association.
