Intergraphic 2.0

www.intergraphic.com

In 1987, Intergraphic Creative Group began as Intergraphic Sign and Design, and that pretty much summed it up. Although we were a sign shop, design was a fundamental element in everything we did. John Jacobsen, one of the two original partners, was a fine artist and brought that perspective to everything that came out of the shop. The personal computer was on the verge of becoming a reality and the first desktop computer used in the shop at Intergraphic cost $20,000. It probably had the computing power of a current day $4 calculator. But it was a revolution in signmaking. Using a computer to drive a machine that cut vinyl meant that you could produce the same sign over and over for a fleet of vehicles or stores and every one would be exactly the same. Over the years, design became a more important part of the product we produced and more clients came to us to help them DEFINE their needs, DESIGN their brand and DELIVER that look and feel in an advertising and marketing package. We had evolved from a sign shop to a full service marketing and advertising agency. With that evolution came a name change from Intergraphic Sign and Design to Intergraphic Creative Group. We were now providing a complete group of marketing and design services. We have had the honor of meeting and working on some unique and challenging projects and meeting some of the best people around. We’d love to meet you and discuss how we might help your customers see you the way you want to be seen.
