Roy City Utah Police Department has 40 sworn officers. Chief Greg Whinham is the current Chief of Police. The department has a k-9 division, seven investigators and twenty five patrol men. A DARE officer and three school resource officers watch over the local high school and two junior highs. Roy City has officers assigned to the Weber Morgan Narcotics Strike Force and The Ogden Metro SWAT team.
