The Mouve is an educational program created to assist students on their pathway to college life. This organization seeks to give high school students in upper Lafayette, Louisiana the tools needed to apply to college, receive an acceptance letter from college, and obtain a degree. Many students in our community lack the proper resources to attend and complete college. Also, students lack the academic confidence needed to excel in college. Most importantly because of some students’ financial insecurity, they will eliminate the idea of applying to college. The Mouve's goal is to change that way of thinking. The Mouve aims to recruit college student volunteers to provide free ACT prep tutoring and guidance regarding the college admissions process to high school students.
