Loft Boarding Scotland Ltd was set up in June 2017 to address the chronic shortage of storage in new homes. We fit flooring, ladders and lighting to your loft. Many home builders advise against flooring your loft, based on the traditional method of placing boards directly on joists or building up the joists then boarding. This reduces airflow, causing damp, or squashes insulation making it far less efficient. LoftZone is the only raised storage flooring product currently available which is approved by the BBA and so does not affect your new home warranty. Installations usually take only 1 day, or 2 days for the largest installations. Already we have more than 20 installations completed across Central Scotland.
