JustHelping is a UK registered charity. Our main event is the Christmas tree collection which is run entirely by volunteers taking place at the beginning of January each year to raise money for hospices and other local charities. Our main event is the Charity Christmas tree collection which is a fun community event which takes place each year after Twelfth Night. We work together with hospices, businesses and volunteers to collect and recycle real Christmas trees and raise money for hospices and other local charities. We provide a mobile optimised website with access to co-branded fundraising pages which accept online donations with Gift Aid. Together, with our partner TRU (121 Systems Ltd) using its leading routing and scheduling software we produce route collection schedules which give details for each Christmas tree collection across all postcode areas creating an efficient way for the volunteers to collect the trees. In January 2018 there were 30 collections across the country with 23,662 Christmas trees registered and £231,530 raised (including Gift Aid). Hospices play a vital role in our communities and we are proud to support them as a major beneficiary of the funds raised and a percentage is also given to local charities as nominated by the collection volunteers.
