UpGrain is committed to establish Brewer's spent grain (BSG) as protein and fiber source of the future. BSG is a by-product of the beer brewing process and we consider it as the most promising alternative to the established planted nutritional sources. As an upcycling pioneer, we developed an innovative upcycling process to extract protein and fiber from BSG. The upcycled resources are purely plant based, locally sourced, preserve nature and the environment and are perfectly applicable to a wide range of food applications.
