Shame culture (white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism) especially teaches women and non-binary folk to disbelieve our worthiness and be ashamed of our bodies and desires. This early wounding sets us up for a lifetime of self-rejection and disconnection. When we heal our relationship to Self, we can claim our desires fully because we know they are our birth right. When we heal our relationship to Community, we can shift culture on a grander scale.
