Portsmouth Harbour Marine aims to promote businesses, skills and participation across Portsmouth Harbour. The key objectives of the organisation are working with schools and colleges in the Portsmouth and Gosport areas equip young people with skills that better fit what marine sector employers require. PHM is encouraging young people to get afloat for recreation, health and education. The organisation also aims to stimulate marine businesses and their networks around the harbour in order to provide marine employment. PHM promotes Portsmouth Harbour as a destination for all forms of competitive and leisure boating for the benefit of the public. PHM provides infrastructure consultation to assist marine businesses to relocate or expand and to create public areas for marine activity.
