The John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation, Inc. serves as a communication hub, supporting and engaging in non-partisan scientific research on how exercise, diet, relationships, and health care benefit mental health. The foundation is named after Victor's brother John who suffered from schizophrenia virtually his entire adult life and prematurely succumbed, like many other patients with severe mental illness, due to complications from a lack of integrated health care. The John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation has established partnerships with universities and health care professionals to guide and improve science and mental health research.
