Much of Australia's land is managed by private landholders and a significant amount of that land includes some of the country's most biodiverse, critically important and threatened ecological communities. While Australia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, it also has one of the highest rates of species decline. Despite this knowledge, land clearing continues to destroy much of our remaining wildlife habitat.
