My practice includes Business and Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law and Estate Planning and Estate Litigation. I am a certified mediator for judicial and non-judicial matters. For over thirty-three years, I have represented privately held businesses and individuals in both litigation and transactional matters. I have organized and have represented for more than 25 years a corporation created under the Federal Risk Retention Act of 1986. It provides excess liability insurance to more than fifty cities, counties and governmental entities throughout the United States. I have: 1) Represented executives and companies in negotiating and litigating employment agreements, severance agreements and covenants not to compete. 2) Negotiated and litigated business disputes among shareholders and represented both purchasers and sellers in the sale of businesses valued up to $50 million. 3) Negotiated and litigated estate disputes and representation of families in their estate planning, with particular emphasis on succession planning and special circumstances.
