Misterine provides innovative IT solutions based on AR (augmented reality) to high-tech industries including aerospace, electronics and automotive. Our primary focus is providing individuals with the optimal amount of information in the most user-friendly manner that enables them to concentrate more effectively on their core tasks and perform complex operations with greater ease. The application of AR technology in manufacturing and maintenance enables companies to achieve higher efficiency targets, reach higher error reduction, reduce paperwork, workload, and require shorter training loads. We currently provide AR solutions to companies in Europe, the USA and Japan that are looking for cutting-edge ways of creating next-generation production and maintenance facilities. One flagship project we are engaged in is VIPER – the joint development of an Augmented Reality manual for engine assembly with the European Space Agency (ESA) and GE Aviation. The aim of the project is to automate the creation of AR instructions based on Computer Aided Design (CAD), as well as technical and product data applied in the production of the highly complex GE engine. Our unique AR platform validates the product data, derives elements from the engine manual, and automatically creates AR instructions which can be displayed on modern devices such as tablets, HoloLens, and smart glasses. Such AR solutions can accelerate the commercialization of new products and support maintenance activities without the burden of complicated written manuals and cumbersome paperwork which would hinder industrial innovation.
