At Jewish Family Services, we support all members of the community. We were built by the faithful members of the Jewish community, but we offer services to all in need. Three major themes are the driving force of our organization: Connect: Even for an expert, navigating the charitable and social services in the Greater Edmonton area can be confusing. Whether the client is in crisis or a newcomer to Canada, JFSE connects clients with an array of social services, helping to understand which services they qualify for and the most suitable services for their needs. Heal: Navigating the world of Home Support Services can be fraught with resistance and anxiety, and JFSE’s team aims to assist both Jewish (including Holocaust survivors) and non-Jewish clients in creating tailor-made strategies to ensure each clients needs are met, ensuring the highest level of Home Care possible. Grow: We offer a diverse team of counsellors whose specializations include: Individual, Family and Couples counselling, Holocaust Survivors, Eating Disorders, Art Psychotherapy, Childhood trauma and bereavement
